Welcome to an online community of those touched by autism or who want to understand the reality of ASD.
My website was born from the desire to connect with others, as well as build awareness and acceptance by sharing our unique experiences.
As Brene Brown, renowned author states, “Connection is the energy that is created between people when they feel seen, heard and valued- when they can give and receive without judgement.”
In my blog, I share my perspective as a mother in a neuro-diverse household. I also discuss the importance of an autism community for me and my children. Whether we find community support online or in real life, when we connect we feel understood and supported.
Read the post – Autism: Unexpected – about how I stopped resisting the diagnosis.
Listen to My Story “Unexpected Outcomes and Overcoming The Odds,” on an award winning podcast, Adventures In Autism.
Our experiences are all very different. You can find guest writers’ experiences in the “Autism Stories” section. Whether you are a parent, caregiver, family member, or autistic yourself, I invite you to share your story on my site. Together, our stories will support the autism awareness and autism acceptance movement!
Please visit my contact page to share your story! I look forward to having you join this community!
